Meet Our Doctor
Houman Behshad O.D.
Dr. Houman Behshad received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arizona State University and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University – Arizona College of Optometry in 2021. He is an Arizona-based optometrist with experience in the management and treatment of ocular disease, pre- and post-operative care, and soft and specialty contact lens fittings. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside some of the most respected ophthalmologists in the region.
Dr. Behshad believes that eyes are not only windows to one's health, but also windows to the soul. He values the deep connection that eye care fosters with patients and seeing each interaction not just as a clinical visit, but as an opportunity to understand and serve the person behind the eyes.
Outside of work, Dr. Behshad enjoys playing musical instruments and staying active through sports such as volleyball, soccer, pickleball, and hiking.
